I loved this book! I’m a 360 video director and I enjoy learning about the industry in-depth. Usually I do that by reading news articles and following certain discussions in 360-related Facebook groups. But when I heard about this book, I was so excited – finally a text that I can keep on my desk and refer back to when needed! I teach a 360 documentary filmmaking workshop in my community as well, and I brought this book in for my students. It does a great job of summarizing the must-know facets of 360 video production while providing the necessary details and tech specs in an engaging way. I think my favorite part of this book is the section on history… I learned a lot about early VR milestones that I was completely ignorant to prior. This is a MUST have book for anyone interested in 360 video production!
